What is an Express Skin Analysis?

There are 6 Express Analysis tests within the Vichy website. Each one of them is designed to assess one of the skin's various parameters: dryness/dehydration, acne-prone skin, skin aging, dull skin, body skin, and sun sensitivity. Based on your anwsers, the most suitable products are recommended for your skin. Each product within the Vichy range is related to one of the Express Skin Analysis tests. You are required to take an Express Skin Analysis before purchasing a product from Vichy Laboratoires.

What is a Full Skin Analysis?

The Vichy Laboratoires Full Skin Analysis is designed to assess each of the following parameters of the skin within a complete 15 minute test: dryness/ dehydration, acne-prone skin, skin aging, dull skin, body skin, and sun sensitivity.
Based on your answers, your product recommendation will include all products in the Vichy range that are most suitable for your skin.
Taking a one time Full Skin Analysis will help you better understand your skin and allow you to have ongoing purchase access to the entire Vichy range.

What is the difference between an Express and a Full Skin Analysis?

The Vichy skincare philosophy is anchored in expert advice. We require that you first take our skincare analysis before purchasing a product. The Express Skin Analysis takes between 45 and 90 seconds and will assess one of the skin's parameters to allow you to purchase products related to this analysis. For example, to purchase an Anti-Aging product you must take the Anti-Aging Express Skin Analysis. The recommended products will only be products in that Express Skin Analysis’ category.
Taking a one time Full Skin Analysis that takes 15 minutes to complete will give you a complete recommendation of all products based on your answers that are most suitable for your skin. The Full Skin Analysis will allow you to have ongoing purchase access to the entire Vichy range.

How were the Express and Full Skin Analysis designed?

The Express and Full Skin Analysis were designed according to the Vichy Laboratoires Analysis protocol. Trademarked skin atlases are developed according to Vichy's skin expertise and clinical studies and are used within each skin analysis.

How long does each Skin Analysis take to complete?

Each Express Skin Analysis takes between 45 seconds and 90 seconds to complete depending on which Express Skin Analysis you take and your answers.
The Full Skin Analysis takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Can I still take a Full Skin Analysis if I have already taken an Express Skin Analysis?

Yes, you can take a Full Skin Analysis at any time even if you have already taken 1 or more of the Express Skin Analysis tests. The Full Skin Analysis results will replace your existing Express Skin Analysis results.

How often can I take a Skin Analysis?

We suggest that you take a Skin Analysis every three months or when the seasons change since skin can change with age and the environment.

When will I receive my Full Skin Analysis results?

Upon completing the Full Skin Analysis, you will immediately see your results. This will include recommended products suitable for your skin type and will allow you ongoing purchase access to the entire Vichy range.

Please note that occasionally information provided during the Full Skin Analysis is contradictory and does not allow for proper analysis. An example of contradictory information would be answering that you are under 30 and have very deep wrinkles. (While someone under 30 may have fine lines or expression wrinkes, they cannot have very deep wrinkles). If contradictory information is entered, you may be asked to take the Full Skin Analysis again.

Will I be able to save my results/product recommendations?

Yes, when you register for your Vichy Skin Passport your results and product recommendations will automatically be saved.

How are my Full Skin Analysis results assessed?

Your answer will be assessed following the Vichy Skin Atlas protocol. The answers you provide during the Full Skin Analysis will provide important information regarding your skin and it's unique needs and allow the Full Skin Analysis tool to make accurate product recommendations.
